Foot care is crucial for diabetes. I know this, on a logical level.

But doing moisturizing treatments are sensory hell and I hate it.

There we go. Complaining out of the way. Overall, I’m in a grand mood! We’re prepping for Christmas day and, aside from a lack of lactose-free whipping cream on grocery store shelves, it’s all going smoothly. I’ve done a ton of tidying, my traditional cookies have been baked, my fridge is stocked for tomorrow’s mini-feast…

It should be a good day.

Yesterday we celebrated the holidays by going to Canada’s Wonderland for Winterfest, and for some extra cheer, we’re expecting our favourite dog later today – we’re boarding her until New Year’s.
