High Hopes; June 10 2026

So, good news? I thought I’d received the final shipment of The Other Face of Sympathy, but it turned out I still had 13 more books on the way. I now have 37 left in stock, which I’ll be selling at a reduced price this Sunday at Glad Day’s book fair!

I’m really hoping sales are good, because my cat – the famous Madame President – needs her vaccines, which is going to be costly. Between that and my daughter’s birthday party, I’ll be maxing out my cards, methinks.

But, it’ll be well worth it. She’s turning eight, good god. I swear kids age differently than adults do – like, sure, she can turn eight, but aren’t I still in my 20s? No?

Also going to ask y’all to wish me luck as some exciting opportunities have come ‘round for me. I won’t share details, just in case nothing comes of them, but I could really use the wins!
