Late Start; October 7 2026

Another birthday come and gone, complete with all the usual weird conflicting feelings! I woke up today with the beginnings of a cold, so I’ll be brief.

As much as I’m enjoying school and feeling like I’m on a better path, I can’t help wishing I’d started ten or more years ago. It’s not a race to success – whatever ‘success’ even means – but I think I’ve made a habit of refusing to start down the track until late.

I hope it’s not a trend that continues. I’m going to push forward!
