The Dark Arts; April 22 2026

With Renaissance Press closing its doors, my book will be going out of print. Some of the last copies being sold will be available at the Toronto Dark Arts Market on May 23rd – I’ll be vending at the Book-ish Market that day! Copies will be five dollars cheaper than their price in bookstores, so I highly recommend coming to check it out.

That’s basically the only good news I’ve got this week, unfortunately. My financial support is at risk (which you can read about at my GoFundMe). I’m fortunate and grateful, though, that my rent for this month is almost taken care of – I’ve reached 2/3 of my goal for May. If you able and willing to help, I’d love if you spread the GFM link around, and donate if you have anything to spare.

One other thing before I sign off, though, is the reminder that I’ll be re-publishing some old works via my newsletter at the end of April. If you’re interested in the following synopsis, be sure to sign up – you’ll get one chapter per month!

Jacquotte only wants adventure... until she's tasked with finding the Wishing Maiden, who grants every desire, in order to avoid the noose. But resisting the power of the wish is no easy task, particularly if you fall in love with the girl who grants them.

An adult fantasy and new fairy tale, ‘The Wishing Maiden’, by R. Haven (under the name R.H. Berry).
