Rent is due, and my GoFundMe has lost all steam, it seems. If you haven’t already, I implore you to spread the campaign around. I’ve been in touch repeatedly with the Ontario Disability Support Program asking for an internal review, but until this matter is sorted out, I’m going to need all the help I can get.
In upcoming stuff I’m involved in, we’ve got:
Storycrafting Sessions: Disability in Writing! This is a series of online panels on May 23rd that will go into various topics relating to disability, and I’m going to be moderating the 2:00 pm EST panel, ‘Prosthetics, Glasses, and Other Disability Aids in SFF’. I’m really excited to get to talk to these awesome authors – Stephen Graham King, Jeané D. Ridges, Elliot Dunstan, and S.M. Reiher!
Then, the following Saturday, I’m going to be at the Toronto Dark Arts Market’s Book-ish Market, vending some of the last copies of my book, The Other Face of Sympathy. If you’re in the GTA, I really hope to see you there.
But, if you can’t make it and you still want a copy of my book, don’t fret. I plan on making whatever stock is left available via my page of works. I just want to wait until after the market to see how many I have left, first.
Thanks to everyone supporting me. It means… Honestly, it means more than I can even say.
